FCC approve for Primestar to offer service at 119d almost a sure thing. If not, why it allowed TCI to win 119d bid back years ago?
Question is: Does P* has resource to offer service? If they need cash from Cable companies, do they plan to wipe out current share holders?
Also, the Tempo satellite is partially broken, although both LOR and P* claim it is good enough to support 119d service with 80 channels. How much TSATA will get from LOR? A settlement supposed to be reached last month based on a Nov.,98 P* conference call, but nothing come out yet.

A bidding war for P* by DISH and GMH is highly unlikely. DISH is loaded with huge debt and they can't risk a drop in their stock price at this time, because that may cause problems in their deal with NWS/MCI.
