GLT,

My cost average is still over a dollar. I have been buying since May 1996 to not only bring my average down but because I believe in ADI. Short-term movement isn't a real issue for me with ADI. What I do see is that the stock did have an OK year in 1998, showing favorable growth potential in 1999 and beyond.

Let's assume something that will eventually happen in my eyes. The stock will jump to at least $3-4 sometime in the future. What happens then, a big sellof that brings to to around 1. These sellers are all the people not interested in owning ADI anymore.

What do we talk about then? My point is that this will be a more tense time for those with long-term hope and short-term mindsets.

A good friend tells me all of the time - LET IT RIDE. That is what I am doing in 1999 and so far I have done better than all of 1998.

Mark
