HI Mile,

"Have Apple PC's always made Intel chips available inside? "

Noooo Sir.

Apple have been running on the MOTA "POWER PC" chip. MOTA/IBM tried a couple of years back to assault the WinTel fortress with the Power PC chip and OS. Although it was probably a better solution technicaly, it failed abysmally. Another case of BETA/VHS.
Now that APPLE is offering windows as an alternative, Intel comes with it I assume. It could also be possible that MOTA has run out of funds to keep up with the development of the Power PC chip for the Mac.

Regards
Alan
