It isn't desirable that it should. It cannot be checked by warnings as to its dangers. You cannot prevent people from guessing wrong no matter how able or experienced they may be. Carefully laid plans will miscarry because the unexpected and even the unexpectable will happen. I guess I am an optimist myself thinking somebody out there is learning from my experience. One last quote before I get ready for Part II of my Holidays. "In booms, which is when the public is in the market in greatest numbers, there is never any need of subtlety, so there is no sense wasting discussing either manipulation or speculation during such times..." I really am an optimist. Or is it that, yes, that's it the signs are here.
