Cumetrix sets online sales plans

INDUSTRY, Calif., Jan 6 (Reuters) - Cumetrix Data Systems Corp. said Wednesday it plans to launch two
online stores this quarter featuring its stock of computer equipment.

The first Internet sales site will feature direct sales of its computer-related products and will allow
customers to configure and order customized computer systems, notebooks and servers, the company
said.

The second site will be an e-commerce auction site, featuring around-the-clock auctions for a wide
selection of computer hardware, software and systems for the retail, reseller and other end-user markets,
it said.

"The computer industry enjoys the highest volume of e-commerce transactions on the Web today, and we
hope to generate a substantial percentage of our revenues from the Internet through continued expansion
of our online stores," Cumetrix chief executive Max Toghraie said in a statement.

Cumetrix shares rose 75 cents to $4.50 in early trading on Nasdaq following the announcement.
