have just had a conversation with a person who just said they saw a tv commercial on web tv.I may have underestimated the enomity of this announcement and this may qualify as another big KAHUNA WebTV has been advertising a LOT. I don't know how well it is doing, though. I've only encountered one person so far, in Powwow, who had WebTV in their address, and they didn't seem terribly impressed, but I suspect that anyone getting into WebTV (like anyone getting into AOL) probably doesn't have a lot of basis for comparison. I'll have to go back and re-read the press release about WebTV (would be nice if they, too, would put out a news release about getting in bed with us), but I don't remember seeing anything that could give us a clue what the alliance really means to us. Are we to be the exclusive provider of 1-800 service for WebTV? If this is the case, the impact will mostly likely be very big.
