You may be able to inform me but viewing Waldo's site he may be more in a position to know. As you are no doubt aware there are on most threads persons who get their jollies out of insulting or bickering just so people get riled up and respond. There has got to be a way out!;some free choice. I have contacted(I hope as i'm not sure the msg.got thru or even where the answer is supposed to come from(on email or on personal msgs. on SI.)Anyway,I informed them that although I agree that anyone can post anything they like within the allowable boundaries,THERE shud be a way to skip by the posts you are sure you don't care to read ;I guess Net nanny works like that. I asked them to create a program whereby anyone can insert in a" PITA" box the names of any individuals whose msgs.you don't want any input from nor any response to.If this can be accomplished we might be able to help SI speed things up after all; how many inane comments can their be on one thread.Wud SI be able to do this or is it too costly? I leave it to your astute mental processes to determine who" PITA "is meant to describe.Any comments?
