Zolty.. one can't blame the delivery boy for posting one of the most vacuous, ignorant and morally self serving articles we've read here. Do you really read that kind of trash on a regular basis?

Only someone who first believes the universe is divided into an "evil" side and a "good" side could attempt to reduce modern history and people's diversity of opinion and accomplishment to such simpleton levels, or to rewrite history at a 1st grade level.

Your writer forgets that a keystone of American freedom is to be able to believe, be vocal, and sympathize with unpopular views... including communism.

Michael Kelly demonstrates a narrow minded, paranoid, and suspect vision not only of the world but of his fellow Americans. That's the most damning part of his piece, that he turns on the same Americans who had the guts to insist on exercising their American values of free expression... the same rights he claims are his to dole out after having inherited those rights from liberals and freedom fighters who died preserving them.

The "complicity with evil" is the moral and historic burden of intolerant isolationist conservatives on both sides who constantly attack any person who doesn't speak their language or believe in the same God, or in the same form of government.... the people on both sides who put up fenses, who put up walls and post guards to limit freedom. They do so because they're distrustful of their fellow man. They do so because they're distrustful of their own motives and moarlity. They do so because its profitable for them, as it gives them power and authority to create distrust and discord through suspicion.
