My gut feeling is that you are correct and Leland Wilson will (as usual) come up empty handed. Unlike a savey CEO/negotiator Wilson's lack of internal talent will force him to depend on external events to eventually sign a "fair deal".

I am not expecting him to have something by January 28th. The guy just doesn't have the "right" stuff to be able to convince his potential partners that based on safety issues, MUSE has a good future once oral ED hype turns into medical reality.

And 7 months is really way too little time for this guy to cut a deal even with the help of an investment banker. We have to remember exactly who our CEO is and his track record over the past 12+ months.

But you never know, maybe he will get lucky for a change and earn his 350k salary for a change.

PS Look at AMAZON.crap today. In one day it increased in market cap value by over $2 billion--that's over 20 times above Vivus' total current market cap. And AMZN never showed a profit since its formation.
