Here's some more info on Boston mtg (4/30). I haven't heard anything
about the NYC mtg. Assume they gave the same story.

Electronics Divisions: Dynaco producing 1. low cost flex circuit bds
used by Wong (Hong Kong), selling to Ford, working on GM & C.
2. patented computer mem modules, flexible 2-sided units which double
RAM or cache mem. Currently selling 64mg($1800) and 128mg($5000)
units to MOT. Planning 256mg units soon. Aimed at high end graphic
& PC server mkt. Anticipate substantial orders from major mfg cos
soon. 3. Upgradable PC's. Demonstrated one with "replacable
volatile components including a "hot-swapable" (whatever that is)
2 gig hard drive, a 128mb FRAMM, and an Intel Pentium 137mhz proc
which took about 20 seconds to install. Initial orders received.
Gross mgn about 20%, in line with PC manufacturers. Expect to ship
4,000 units/mo soon, and can ramp up to 15,000/mo with current facil.

I didn't see any mention of the 80mil contract with New Media. This
seemed like a big deal for a co this size, and I was surprised when
stock didn't pop on that news. Anyone have any thoughts?

Co. said they are planning to spin off Dynaco and Nexar as separate
companyies. Decision in 2-3 months.

Spectrum facility (Epilaser) is moving from Natick, Ma to larger
facility in Lexington Ma.

Sales and earnings ests: 96 97
Lasers 20-40 mil 110 mil
Electronics 40-60 mil 140 mil
EPS -.30 to -.15 1.10 to 1.85
CEO comfortable with estimates (conservative)

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions I may be able
to answer. I have a large percent of my portfolio in this, and would
appreciate any info that might let me sleep better. There have been
some nasty rumors spread on other boards, but to the best of my
knowledge are false. If anyone knows otherwise, please let me know.

I'm particularly interested in Electronics Divisions. Can anyone tell
me if they are truly competitive in these areas? Also, what about
the New Media deal?
