Ramsey,

I've analyzed the output of Press Releases of AMAT and AMZN (the current standard bearer in press-releasing).

My analysis shows that in the last 13 weeks, AMAT had 10 items released on PR Newswire and AMZN 23. I did not include press releases from brokerages as that additional noise made the calculations more strenuous for me (and possibly would have invalidated my expected results anyway), after all, my Math degree from Berkeley is rather useless now that I wear the hat of a Wall Street Analyst.

Based on closing prices, AMAT is trading at 5.36 times PressReleases and AMZN is trading at 6 times PressReleases. Based on this new information, I calculate that AMAT is undervalued by approximately 10% and project a target of 60 (that's post-split all around here) for Friday.
