Ish, Wisconsin is a tax hell state. #2 by current rankings, I think. My fine governor hasn't done much about that, despite his 12 years in office so far, with a line item veto, never overridden, which allows him to write his own numbers into the state budget. If he actually runs for President, I expect this will not help him much in the primaries.
As for "backing Clinton", this gets into this business where if you don't hate Clinton and want him thrown out, you're a commie Clinton lover. Such is the sophisticated level of debate in this august forum. Your particular "hate Republican" formulation is a minor variant on that. I've posted somewhat complimentary things about GWB, John McCain, and Colin Powell. Doesn't much matter, of course, since I don't think impeachment/conviction is a good idea. |
