According to Iomega's home page, the Zip is available in two
internal models, SCSI and IDE. The SCSI has the same unit ID
restriction as the external, only IDs 5 and 6 are supported.
The IDE has the surprising restriction of being only a slave
device.

This means that Iomega has made it impossible to use a Zip drive
of any type for a bootable device. This is a real shame, I would
have bought a third Zip drive if I could have set it up as bootable.
