I've traded cmgi for a year now and made money all of the time in 2000 increments by buying on dips to the 60's and selling in the high 80's and 90's. at +67% for the year, i'm sorry to have missed this one. I (IMHO) attrribute cmgi's spectacular rise to a quantum paradigm shift: (1) it is undervalued; (2) the net is a legitimate investment thanks to aol being put into the s&p 500. symbolic perhaps of e-commerce etc, it is still a shift in the valuations (pps) that i use to trigger buy/sell. the values have been ramped up by the internet's legitimacy and the risks along with them. just listen to cramer on cnbc today if you doubt it. an interesting year ahead in which it will pay to stay long with the blue chip internets like aol/yhoo/cmgi/lu/nsol/inkt and a few others. also with some relative undervalued stocks such as eweb. short term trades are good with others, but there will be a reconing this year which will hurt those caught when the music stops.
