Not to kill the fantastic community we have building here at SI, I think there are a ton of lurkers out there that aren't posting. If you want to get info you have to give. If it's the $$$$$ to join SI, believe me, it's worth it. There is another option. There is a similar conversation going on at: ragingbull.com Just search for the GLBM message board It may demonstrate that you are frugal, but at least you will be contributing.
