DALLAS, Dec. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Dave & Buster's, Inc. (Nasdaq: DANB) announced today the extremely successful launch of a new prototype store this past weekend in Hilliard, Ohio, a suburb of Columbus. This opening marked the seventeenth location in the Company's domestic operations and the first D&B to be aimed specifically at intermediate markets. At 37,500 square feet, this Dave & Buster's is about 30-40% more compact than the mega-store 50,000-60,000 square foot, major market model.
"We were, quite frankly, amazed at the performance here in Columbus," said Dave & Buster's Co-founder, Dave Corriveau. "This store did opening weekend volumes and sales figures that rival some of the numbers of our mega-stores."
