Dee Jay, I noticed ASND's run up on the intra-day chart. Specifically, it seemed that the stock price jumped by about $2.50 in last 20 minutes or so. Although, I have no idea, it could mean that some good news is pending and could surface on Monday. I have not studied how well ASND's last minute run ups have matched with good news (or vice-versa) on the following days based on internal information. If there is no news on Monday, then we have to keep wondering about what kind of game somone has in mind. You mentioned ASND split and I have wondered what incentive ASND has for a split. The reason I have heard for a split is to make a stock more affordable since it cuts the price; since ASND is owned 80% by institutions (which everyone knows) who can generally afford the price (I doubt that institutions will care about the price if the prospects look good) why would ASND want to split? I think a company would be more interested that institutions hold their stock rather than individuals so why encourage more individuals? of course, if they offer more shares in the market and there are no institutions buying, then a company would want to split so that individuals can buy them (which I don't think is the case).
