The last announcement I saw was that Vas had applied for a patent for the reduction of cholesterol. Unfortunately, several companies are already producing medication that has the same function. I have been taking one of these products for several years and have suffered no side effects that were mentioned in their release. I fail to see how Vasogen hopes to corner a very large share of the market by re-inventing the wheel. The next few days should give us an indication whether this is just another blip or some sort of joint venture is in the works. Let's hope it's the latter.
