Also added to my position in UHAL today. Plusses are brand name recognition, probably a leadership position in what they do, and selling at book value. Negatives are Management, Management. As discussed last year on the Value Thread - the entrenched family who own and control this company - they may be incompetent or mentally unstable, or worse (-g-) --they may have set up one or more 'deals' with the company (perhaps maintenance management of the truck fleet??) that would tend to increase their wealth at the expense of the other shareholders. (If so, and they can get away with it - then maybe they ain't crazy or bad managers after all -g-) For me, owning this stock for a year, stock price hasn't changed too much -- but the franchise value - trucks, public storage facilities, insurance component, propane sales -- has increased. That would be my unsupported opinion. Paul Senior
