Quick calculations on Palm Pilot battery thickness and size.

I estimate the palm pilot to be about 3x5 inches. As I understand it, the thinnest battery with Valence's current technology is about 1mm which is the thickness of one bi-cell. An appropriate thickness to mold into a plastic case might be about 2 bi-cells (2mm) or about .008 inch. The arcotronics machines can assemble about 240 bi-cells per minute or 120 of these per minute. This is equivalent to over 4 million per month at 3 shifts per day.
