Mr. Sylvain Abitbol reports
Two of the company's senior officers purchased a total of 563,000 shares on
the Toronto Stock Exchange. Sylvain Abitbol, president and CEO, purchased
74,000 shares on Nov. 24, 1998 and an additional 212,500 shares on Dec. 29,
1998 and Ralph Benatar, CFO, purchased 64,000 shares on Nov. 24, 1998 and
an additional 212,500 shares on Dec. 29, 1998. Following these purchases,
Mr. Abitbol and Mr. Benatar together own over 1,000,000 shares of the
company.
Mr. Abitbol and Mr. Benatar indicated that they may purchase additional
shares as appropriate opportunities arise.
