OT and I mean OT:

But I need some advice in a hurry from anyone knowledgable about tires- 2 days ago I replaced all of my tires with new DUnlops. I had this done at the place where I bought the tires. This afternoon one of the tires is completely flat. I took it to a nearby gas station and filled it up and noticed it was leaking from the valve stem area. I have somebody take the tire off and put the spare on and take it back to where I got it and told them I wanted a new tire. The guys tells me that it is a valve stem problem and has nothing to do with the tire. I say well how did the valve stem get damaged and the guys says maybe it was hit by some ice while i was driving. Does this make any sense at all?
