Bill, Thanks and welcome. How much did Nextwave pay for that? Last I saw I think it was somewhere near $4.5bn. They are certainly putting my money where their mouths are. Qualcomm owns some of Nextwave and would be in the running to gain infrastructure and handset contracts given the close association between Qualcomm and Nextwave. Nextwave was already expected to be a major winner in the auctions, so probably discounted. Once again, I'll predict a drop in the share price on the news, especially since I hear that there has been good economic news for USA, so stocks should fall as usual on the good news. I'm inclined to think Ramsey's "show me" theory is the most accurate predictor. Where do you live Bill? 2.33am Eastern Standard Time post!! Are you as mad as the sheep milkmen of NZ? Or maybe in HongKong? MIW.
