Tenchusatsu, AMD might not pick up AltaVista as its first network client but it could do wonders in the small business/workgroup marketplace. Because they aren't beholding to ancient bus designs, AMD could easily create a chipset to combine SCSI, FastEthernet, and the K-7 into something more than the sum of its parts. In the server world, people are more interested in solutions than in acronyms like "MMX" or "KNI" ... or, for that matter, "Intel".
