eBay is currently valued at more than $8000 per ongoing auction. In a year's time, eBay collects about $70 in revenues per ongoing auction (each auction produces, on average, about $1.40 for the company). I guess I could see the auction count growing to about ten times what it is today (about 1.25 million), but my imagination stops there. I do wish I had bought at $25.
