Don,

I am new to options. Today being a new day I see things a little more clearly and I believe I may have been mistaken. How do you know the puts are shorted? Or naked as they say?

1- If the put contracts are selling for less than he paid for it there is a paper loss, not a gain.

OR

2- He can buy back the put contracts between the current bid/ask and he actually received more money when he opened the contracts than paid for closing the contracts.

Which is right?

Mark
