(Let's make a deal) John, we finally agreed on something, I've been saying it all along. "Superior product doesn't lead to superior company. You've got to share the toy. Don't let the pride get into your way of doing business ..." I think Aware's management definitely scored. Some say they're cheap, fine, they've got more money for their stock options and whenever ASND is mentioned in xDSL related news, Aware goes up a little, ie WCOM &ASND (yesterday TeleChoice). As for patent issue, it's important, but all tech. companies have a patent or 2, there are patents and there are PATENTS so IBD is simply reporting the fact but it could demage Amati's image since most have believed Amati has all the patents and others have none. The good news is Amati got mentioned in IBD, the bad news is it's not treated as a leader as most posters on this thread have thought. Just my opinion and healthy debate is always welcome. e.
