In the past, I have been somewhat supportive of Toms Hardware as a review site. I just read his latest TNT round-up. What a peice of garbage review. What pushed me over the edge was his temperature readings. He takes a reading on the new ATI chip directly from the surface and screams to the world how hot it was. For the TNT cards, he reads the temp from the PCB? What the heck was he thinking. From the scores on the PCB, I'd say the TNT runs hotter than the ATI, yet I didn't see any not of that.

Finally, he still is saying that V2 SLI is very expensive. Even buying from CompUSA, two V2 cards are barely more expensive than one TNT. Since CompUSA purchases tend to be upgrades, I'd go with the V2 as you already have a 2D card.
