Thank god you were spared a second sentence.

Or, as P.T. Barnum once said about the persons you might meet in public, "This way to the egress..."

And I titaly agree with you that this (Bil) is a man who went to the finest public affairs-oriented law faculty inthe world (Yale), was a Rhodes Scholar, and we have at least the suspicion that in Tyson-land Politician Clinton was feathering his nest at the expense of the common weal. Bill has the morals of a stoat. Or, seen another way he is simply practicing and living a life based on the moral equivalent of board room politics ala Ron Pearlman, et. all.

If I may paraphrase a book review that appeared in Foreign Affiars (thank you Pirate) "...one fo the great ironies of post modern times is that the regulatory powers of the state have expanded over society while receding from the economy...however,we now all live in a time of experimentation in social engineering by means of regulatory power".

So. The likes of Bill are what the likes of public law institutions like Yale choke up Bonnie.

In the market, regresing to the purpose of this thread, we will now see how the regulatory powers react to a real bubble. We are on suicide watch here watching the victim climb higher and high on the skyscraper so he can jump of an even higher floor.

We seem, sigh, to live in an era that accepts mainpulation of the press (can you believe this?) and the financial markets.

Best Bonnie,

Clark
