K..... I've seen Ep numerous times over the last 2 years and this was his best performance, imho. DEC integration is complete and will be reflected in Q4 earnings. He talked to the DELL question by simply saying that CPQ is a full service company and even said that there is no other like it in the industry. Makes me believe that he is looking past DELL and zeroed in on IBM! He is obviously very comfortable with Q4 results and is looking forward to the further "unfolding" of the direct model and DEC potential in '99. I LIKED THE INTERVIEW! Too bad CNBC put up a bum chart. El S&P -8, fair value +2 = -10. El
