Topfuel, I really don't get your point. Anyone who has been on this thread for a while knows that Madera also buys wood from other suppliers.

I think You yourself have said that wood prices were depressed. Why wouldn't they take advantage of this and get cheap wood to sell, while conserving their resources? This is a business after all!! By doing so they turned a nice profit last year.

" Madera is exercising full environmental controls in its operations. As a result, limited harvesting has actually occurred , instead registrant is actively purchasing timber from other producers and preserving its reserves. Thus, previously distributed harvesting projections will not come into play until the existing supply from other producers becomes diminished."

Limited harvesting does not mean no harvesting. To come to the conclusion that Madera has no timber because of this statement is a little unbelievable.

In light of Max Fletchers post on the other thread, where the President of the company is talking about BILLIONS OF $'s in Timber Reserves I'm afraid that I'm Going to have to agree with Willie

I must ask you again, because I have forgotten, Just why are you posting here?
