In a practical sense, we are discussing how many cell sites Nextel versus S-PCS requires to obtain equivalent coverage-or, for the investor, how much do they need to spend to build out? Theoretically, we can talk about dB (signal strength) contours, signal transmission method (CDMA/TDMA/analog), radio frequency (800/1900), transmitter (cell site) tower allowable power output, and tower height. (This would only compare apples to apples in the equivalent geographical terrain).
I was only addressing the last two items. You are correct about the other factors.
