One reason why the release of "positive" PRs like the one yesterday by DCTC has to do with motivation. Why does a company release a bullish projection of earnings increases that contains no material information? Methinks most market watchers take such an airball as a sign that the company is merely trying to boost a sagging stock price by making non-binding bullish statements. It does happen a lot. In the long run, the company's revenues and audited figures will speak for themselves, so the issuance of a "rah rah" release is often taken to be a bearish indicator.

On a somewhat related topic, has CCEE met their bullishly projected earnings forecasts for the past year? [ $^) or $^( depending on your point of view....]
