HOT OFF THE WIRE NEWS - ISLEUTHCHAT/ISLEUTH EMAIL

New Services Expected to Result in Significant Site Traffic Growth

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- iSleuth.com (OTC Bulletin Board: SLEU
- news) today announced it has completed an agreement with Hong Kong-based Outblaze, a
pioneer in providing private label services to web sites, for a co-branded e-mail service,
iSleuthMail, at the iSleuth.com site (http://www.isleuth.com ). Visitors to the iSleuth.com site will
be able to register for the new free e-mail service by simply choosing an e-mail user name
(username@isleuthmail.com). As part of the agreement with Outblaze, iSleuth.com will also begin
offering free chat services at its site. Called iSleuthChat, it is expected to include a wide variety of
categories, many of which will dovetail with the powerful searching capabilities of the iSleuth
search engine. Both iSleuthMail and iSleuthChat are in final production and are expected to be
launched prior to the end of January 1999.

The Company noted that the two new services are expected to result in a significant increase in
monthly site traffic, with management projecting an initial doubling of daily impressions.

Commenting further, John J. Bennett, Chairman, President and CEO of iSleuth.com, noted,
''With this transaction completed, it is clear to see that we have come a very long way in a short
period of time since acquiring the iSleuth search engine and site only a few months ago. We are
now gaining the ability to realize quantum increases in site traffic.

''The addition of these two cornerstone services,'' Mr. Bennett added, ''clearly positions
iSleuth.com as an important provider of portal services to Internet users. The growing number of
web surfers using our outstanding search engine will also now have a compelling reason to return
regularly to the iSleuth.com site to send and receive e-mail and engage in chat room discussions.
Coupled with our new iSleuth Marketplace e-commerce shopping service that we recently
launched in alliance with Inktomi, site users now have access to key searching, communication,
shopping and information services often cited by Internet users as constituting the bulk of their
web activities.''

Outblaze, founded in May 1998 and based in Hong Kong, is a pioneer in providing private label
portal services to web sites. Outblaze is the developer of the Instant Portal, which allows any web
site to customize their service modifying domain, look & feel, layout, logo, colors, welcome
message, e-mail tagline, text and language. Outblaze manages the operations of the service out of
its two co-location facilities in San Francisco and San Jose. Outblaze has to date signed sixteen
partners who deliver 36 million page views per month.

iSleuth.com owns and operates the iSleuth.com Web site, isleuth.com , home of The
Internet Sleuth, considered by many leading industry experts to be one of the Web's premier and
most powerful search engines. The iSleuth site and search engine was originally founded in 1995
and operated initially as a non-commercial site designed to meet the needs of institutional and
educational researchers. It was acquired by iSleuth.com during mid-1998, at which time the
Company embarked on its current program to accelerate its commercial development. The
Company's business plan calls for continuing to build on its current foundation to further develop
the iSleuth.com site into a premier Internet gateway that will serve as a home base for Internet
users.

Statements about the Company's future expectations, including future revenues and earnings, and
all other statements in the press release other than historical facts are ''forward-looking
