From the point of view of analysts there was nothing momentous in MWSF. Apple simply announced that they will renew their product lines.
Back when Apple was in its dead bed the cry "it has a pulse" quite reasonably was greeted with cheers and upticks in the stock price. A year later we know it has a pulse and it has to do better than that to deserve an upgrade. A refresh on the product line, such as the one announced yesterday is a routine part of day to day operations of a computer manufacturer.

The release of an iMate or webmate would deserve an upgrade. MacOS X might too, but it will take a few weeks before the technical evaluation reports and comments from education stream in.
