Player, what you are missing is the fact that such a merger is based on paper -- not cash. And this kind of takeover is tiny. Second, I cannot think of the last time I heard of a hostile takeover in the tech sector. That means all kinds of perks would continue for Duffeld & Co. That also means poison pills are not an issue, and stock options would be respected etc. I'm not saying that I lend any credence to the rumor. In fact I don't. What I am saying is that such a buyout is peanuts. TTFN, CTC
