For the sake of clarity, investors should understand that the ECD patents apply only to the recordable DVD disks such as CD RW or DVD Ram.and others.
Those disks that are purchased(DVD ROM) in stores to play movies or anything else already recorded, are not using Phase Change technology and are not providing royalties to ECD.
The new recordable disks using DVD(RAM) have only just hit the market place and should begin to provide royalties in ever growing numbers in successive quarters.
