OT You made some good points for Diego to consider. As does Waterhouse for you, so, too, does Schwab have an office where I live in case I ever have to run-down there. Schwab's telephone support is also something I like. A real winner for me is that Schwab has an office in London, something that is important to me because I spend blocks of time there. I am not pushing Diego to Schwab or saying anything negative about Waterhouse. Rather, there are a number of considerations for a person to take into account in selecting an on-line broker besides the commission they charge. Waterhouse is a good choice for you, JDN, and Schwab is for me. Lynn
