That analysis was of course by Doc Jimbo, Motley Fool's storage tech analyst ... a hobby of his apparently. He is a physician.
His original extremely negative pronouncements were based on a cursory reading of the 1994 annual report, and so I was not overly moved or impressed when as a shareholder, I first read them.
Obviously the prime advantage of buying a stock when its potentials are not quite actualized is that you get it at a cheaper .. often much cheaper .. price.Also obviously, as a shareholder, I think many of those potentials for growth and new revenue streams are likely to actually occur, and therefore the stock is likely to appreciate. Good luck in your decisions.
