Your comment on ARIA has left me a bit confused. When I read your initial post of AUG 2, it mentioned making some noise to counter the statement by Freudenthal about the market ignoring low-priced Biotechs. Since that post, ARIA has had a pretty steady slide south, until the Science paper announcing on success with the ARGENT technology to control Epogen levels.

The big spike in price came at the Monday open, and has subsequently slid back, although it is higher than last week, but below where it was at the beginning of Aug (or even the beginning of last month):

Thus, it looks like noise before Monday's open produced a dramatic price jump, but since the Science and popular press articles came out after Thursday's close (and of course the markets were closed on Friday), how did making some noise generate handsome profits?
