To answer your question, I seriously doubt it. This article has a sales theme to it. No reason to sell this to investors -- that is unless you stand to profit from it.

When you read that large oil firms are successfully using this method, then it might be worth checking into. Until then, I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole.
