From looking at today's trading chart, there appear to have been some large blocks moving on a reasonably frequent basis. Not all the same size blocks (perhaps to avoid drawing attention), but regular, frequent movement...as if someone wanted to "average in" over the course of a trading day to establish a 250K share holding...

Any thoughts (other than hooray for ANCR)?

Does anyone out there work for an investment house who could explain how a firm would take a relatively large position in a relatively lightly traded issue without running it up?
