>>>This gentleman doesn't appear to have a reason for disgruntlement, though.
From the look of things, getting fired from SIM was probably the best thing that ever happened to him.
I would agree, though, that since several people were fired, there's a potential source of disgruntlement among them. But Bertini just doesn't seem likely - it looks like he ought to be pretty happy.
I'm surprised at you, PT, after all of your objections about conjecture, to just throw a name out there which is, admittedly, a guess on your part, with the potential of ruining somebody's career.
Actually, I'm not surprised at all. You are consistent in your dual standards.<<<
Jon, you completely left out of your post what I presented in the second paragraph: "It would appear, however, that the gentleman profiled below has performed good work, is published and would not stoop to anything so low as a fraudulent email to Disney. Therefore I reserve judgment and make no accusation."
According to your traceroute work, the fraudulent poster came from Sydney, Australia and was a member of Ozemail. I merely pointed into a direction where there could indeed be a motive due to the disgruntlement. I SUSPECT, however, that this gentlement could be helpful in identifying the author of that fraudulent email.
And I agree that Mr. Bertini, from the record, appears to have a very distinguished career in his field and I don't think he would jeopardize this by participating in such a scheme as the fake Disney letter. But somebody did it, and according to you, they're from Sydney and are a member of Ozemail. I'm hopeful that in the course of the investigation, we'll get the culprit, whoever it is. |
