--- OT --- Internet stocks i remember about a month ago i was getting a haircut at a local barbershop and there was this lady there on a cell phone obviously talking with her broker about buying Yahoo. She hung up and started telling everyone to buy Yahoo and how it was a great company... blah blah... Then i asked, do you know what the P/E ratio is? The earnings? Even the business model? All i get is a blank look. Multiply that look by the thousands of barbershops all over the nation and you get the picture. No one cares about fundamentals, At this point, everyone is looking for some quick cash... it's part of the american dream. money with no work, completely guiltless... all that new money the aging baby boomer generation is flooding into the market... where does it go? into whatever is going up at the moment... and what's going up like mad? Internet stocks... All i know is that this internet thing is gonna bubble over and explode one day, and the fallout won't be pretty (but i've been saying that for the past 6 months, so i could be wrong =) )...
