Some excellent finds, Pat... thanks. These voip measures take us one step further to a truly wide-open voice over the Internet environment (or an IP-defined backbone structure which will be used for real-time voice and video services). I know we're not there yet, but this is one step closer, and the direction has been defined, IMO. How do you see this possibly backfiring on T and other voice providers, since it creates an environment that takes voice outside the grasp of a single provider's control at some point? You've got to know that this is being discussed behind the closed doors. Regards, Frank C.
