Good news (in an otherwise lackluster day). Next phase of ATT promotional rollout appears to have begun...

In my current ATT Universal card statement, there was a new, full color insert with instructions for logging onto ATT online to view my bill, to use autopay (which is the interim payment method until the CF EBBP rollout, I would guess), to view unbilled charges, etc., etc. The instructions were well presented, in non-technical language that even the most inexperienced "newbie" could figure out.

I just signed up and logged in (they give you a special access code that is now printed on the face of the bill)-- whole process took a minute or so. I viewed an Acrobat version of my statement on line -- very impressive (no hyperlinks or anything, though).

My guess is that the special code on my statement allows ATT to track which specific customers have used the online service -- key folks to target later when the presentment features are rolled out and perhaps the paper version of the bill could be dropped (just wishful thinking on my part, perhaps)...

Another note -- ATT now seems to (finally) be Quicken-enabled for statement download, which I'm going to try later when I get home.

Anyway -- looks like ATT is taking the ball and running with it (albeit only a few yards at a time, but I'm not complaining).

BTW - you don't need the special code to enroll. Check out the site at:
