Let me echo an "amen" to your posts on the craziness of worrying about what the stock is going to do in the next 10 (choose your favorite:) seconds, minutes, days, or even weeks.

It reminds me of the classic line:
"Gee, sir, what do you think the market will do today."
"It will oscillate, my boy. It will oscillate."

Market timing, in general, is a losing proposition. But market-timing an absolutely volatile, beta-heavy stock like CMGI is insane. Maybe it's easier for me to be so calm -- I'm long at $40 and have a four bagger in four months. But in the absence of a major shift in this stock, CMGI is something you buy for the long term and enjoy it in about 5 years.

That's my plan, anyway... I don't care if YHOO tanks earnings or whether the pre-split runup falls away next week. It's the macro that matters, not the micro...
