A friend from Australia tried to book a room in Sydney near the water and found out that 90% of hotels are already booked within a 15 km radius, due to the expected fireworks there.. I personally don't know what i'm planning to do THIS weekend, and can't see myself booking for something a year in advance <even though Y2K is a biggie> .. I think it will be like this all over .. So, with my luck and no reservations made, I'll be at home with my sweetie watching a few movies, hope to get lucky, and/or at least very drunk :)) Besides - who wants to drive on New Year's Eve 2000 anyway?? <definately not flying>... Oh well - LIFE is not a box of chocolates, its a magazine - there is always a new issue out ... IF i don't catch NY2000Eve, there's always 2001 Take care.
