Arbitrage process in which professional traders simultaneously buy and sell the same or equivalent securities for a riskless profit. To close out 95c there needs to be an offsetting trade on the short side which will drive the stock down. To close out 95p an offsetting trade on the long side must occur which drives the stock back up. Closing out options positions start to occur 7-8 trading days before expiry.

That's the approximate gist, but one of those fancy dancy books on options arbitrage can explain it clearly.
