Hi there Michael. I do not think CNF is the best buy in transportation, but it may not be bad. On the yahoo thread some are also posting concerns of postal service contract extensions: messages.yahoo.com@m2.yahoo.com A recent memo from the USPS Mailhandlers labor union has this to say about future subcontracting out by the USPS: "This (18-month) moratorium, which also provides for limits on the expansion of existing subcontracting initiatives, the establishment of a pilot PMPC facility staffed with carer postal employees, and the creation of a National level Task Force to address subcontracting issues, will go a long way toward stemming future subcontracting." It seems that the future contracts between the USPS and Emery are far from certain. ........ I sold almost all CNF a few days ago, and wondered if today's drop is due to news of the postal contract. Do you know any more? I have it on my list to give the company a call tomorrow.
